Assmann expands its range of video extenders with three new solutions for signal transmission in UHD 4K quality.

The Assmann Group, a global solution provider for high-quality server, network and peripheral infrastructure products, is expanding its product range for wireless signal transmission with three wireless extender sets from its own Digitus brand. They allow audio and video signals to be easily reproduced in UDH-4K quality via plug & play, even over long distances.

While the Digitus product portfolio for wireless signal transmission previously only consisted of extenders with Full HD resolution, Assmann now also covers the UHD 4K range with the new solutions (DS-55328, DS-55323, DS-55324). They can be easily installed and operated via Plug & Play without additional drivers or software. The extender sets also feature AES 128-bit encryption and WPA2 protocol for secure data transmission and are compatible with HDMI 2.0/1.4 and HDCP 2.2/1.4.

The 4K Wireless HDMI KVM Extender Set from Digitus (DS-55328) transmits audio and video signals wirelessly in UHD 4K/30 Hz over long distances of up to 150 meters (with a clear line of sight). The extender set consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit (output device) and has a point-to-multipoint connection. This means that the extender set can be extended to up to four receiver units. The additional receiver units (DS-55329) are available separately. The KVM functionality makes it possible to connect a mouse or keyboard, which allows the signal source (transmitter) to be controlled directly on the output device. In addition, a local monitor can be connected to the transmitter unit via the HDMI loop-out to control the output on the receiver.

The 4K wireless video extender sets from Digitus (DS-55323/-24) transmit audio and video signals wirelessly in UHD 4K/ 30 Hz up to 30 meters (with a clear view) and are therefore ideal for home cinemas, conference rooms or school facilities. Unlike the DS-55328 extender set, these products have a point-to-point connection, which means that the transmitter unit can be connected to just one output device. The extender sets are available with an HDMI-HDMI or an HDMI-USB-C connection so that any device can be connected.
