The high-quality network cabinets set standards for the organization of modern IT environments
The Assmann Group, a global solution provider for high-quality server, network and peripheral infrastructure products, announces news for the network cabinets of the Unique series: The product line of the Digitus own brand now scores with an even higher maximum load capacity, a swivel handle with integrated lock and other new features. Assmann assembles all its network and server cabinets in Germany and guarantees high delivery availability and just-in-time deliveries at all times thanks to a build-to-order strategy and expanded storage capacities.
Whether servers, Ethernet switches or patch panels: The high-quality Unique network cabinets from Digitus all have protection class IP 20 and therefore offer the best protection for sensitive hardware. The series was designed for particularly convenient and flexible network cabling and is suitable for a wide range of application scenarios in the modern IT infrastructure. An update of the network enclosures now provides even more convenience and offers the following new features:
In general, the well thought-out, clever design of the Unique series ensures maximum stability, maximum flexibility in use and sufficient space for cables of all kinds. The roof is also prepared to accommodate a fan unit and has a removable cover. The generous vertical cable ducts with cable routing aids and a panel built into the front (from 800 mm cabinet width) perfectly round off the versatile features of these network cabinets.
Inside the cabinets, two pairs of cranked, galvanized 19” profile rails are installed, which can be infinitely adjusted and are connected to additional depth struts in the cabinet. Each enclosure is a robust steel construction made from sheet steel up to 1.5 mm thick. The coloring takes the form of electrostatic powder coating in the standard colors grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). Modular lockable and removable side panels and doors improve accessibility, and door hinges can also be changed. Thanks to their demountable design, the cabinets can also be completely dismantled if required.

The Assmann Group relies on Germany as a location for the assembly of its network and server rack solutions. In order to meet the increasing demand and always be able to offer the full range of products with high delivery availability, the company has expanded its capacities and operates an additional new warehouse for the BTO production of its Digitus network and server cabinets at its headquarters in Lüdenscheid. These can be ordered online, are customized and manufactured to individual requirements and delivered just-in-time.
